In November, 2011 the voters of Fauquier County, Virginia will be electing a new Commonwealth's Attorney. The Friends of Jim Fisher campaign committee has been organized by residents of Fauquier County to elect James "Jim" Paul Fisher as our County's next Commonwealth's Attorney.
Jim Fisher may be the most experienced candidate ever offered to the voters of Fauquier County for the position of Commonwealth's Attorney. The son of a Virginia State Trooper -- Jim Fisher has served nearly two decades on the front lines of law enforcement. Most recently Jim served eight years as Chief Deputy Commonwealth's Attorney of Loudoun County, Virginia where he led the fight to hold criminals accountable in an environment that in many ways reflects the challenges Fauquier County will be facing in the years ahead.
A long time resident of Fauquier County, Jim Fisher has been deeply involved in our community as a parent, neighbor, and volunteer. A Scout leader and youth sports coach -- Jim Fisher shares our hopes to improve and strengthen our county. "My mission is to hold criminals accountable -- to create a strong deterrent to crime in Fauquier County," said Jim. "The best way to protect our neighborhoods and families is to prevent crimes from occurring, and a strong deterrence to potential offenders has been proven to be among the most effective means of realizing that goal." |
